You only pay once the item is in your hands. Here is exactly what happens, step by step.

Five steps, start to finish

Place your order
Pick what you want and confirm your address and phone number. You pay nothing now — no card, no deposit, no transfer.

The seller prepares it
The seller is notified straight away, packs your item and hands it to a JigjigaSale courier. Every seller is verified before they can list anything.

A courier brings it to you
Follow your order in your account. When the courier collects it you get a private 4-digit delivery code by notification, email and SMS.

Check it at your door
Open the package and look at the item before any money changes hands. If it is not what you ordered, you do not have to accept it.

Pay cash and share your code
Happy with it? Pay the courier in cash and give them your 4-digit code. The code is what closes the order — so only you can complete it.

Your money stays with you
Nothing is taken upfront. You are never out of pocket for an order you have not received.
Only you can close the order
The delivery code is sent to you, not the courier. Without it the delivery cannot be marked complete.

Every seller is reviewed and approved by our team before a single product goes live.
30 days to return it
Wrong, damaged or not as described? Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Common questions
Do I need a bank account or card?
No. Pay on delivery is cash to the courier at your door. We also offer eBirr and CBE if you prefer to pay before delivery.
What if the item is wrong or damaged?
Do not accept it and do not pay. If you have already accepted it, submit a return request from your account within 30 days.
Where does my delivery code come from?
It is generated when the courier collects your parcel and sent to you by notification, email and SMS. You can also see it on your order page.
Can I cancel before it arrives?
Yes. Orders can be cancelled any time before they are dispatched. After dispatch, use the normal return process.
